EVO ACADEMY PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

EVO Academy is the home of player development on the North Shore.

Whether you are a beginner, recreational player or a high level college-bound athlete, EVO Academy has a training path for you.  The Academy is the most flexible of all EVO training programs - offering one and two-day training options. 

Our Academy instructors include Master coaches, Juniors National  Team coaches, and College Coaches. Academy sessions include assistant junior coaching instruction from former & current EVO  players.  

Multi-sport athletes, new comers and recreational players will love EVO Academy. 

VolleyStart (Beginners)

WHERE YOU LEARN TO LOVE THE GAME!

VolleyStart is exactly what it sounds like. This Skills & Drills Program teaches you the fundamentals of clean volleyball technique and mechanics through drills and in-house competition. 

  • Sessions run year round - Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer and end with a playdate at final practice/session.

VolleyNext

Intermediate/Recreational Program  for those who have already participated in VolleyStart or have placed into VolleyNext through a tryout. VolleyNext continues player learning and development while adding in competition. This program teaches volleyball technique through drills and game like play preparing players to compete in a Pre-Season tournament on February 18, 2023. 

  • November 28th-February 18th
  • Wednesdays 5-7pm & Saturdays 3-5pm at EVO HQ - Bando Performance
  • Includes Pre-Season Tournament on Feb 18th
  • Includes EVO T-shirt

VolleyCrush League

This Recreational League program provides high-level individual and team focused training for players ages 13-16. This League is the perfect fit for multi-sport athletes and families juggling a busy schedule. Tryouts are not required, but players may attend any "Preview Playdates" to help with placement.

VOLLEYCRUSH SEASON OVERVIEW

This new league runs from November through April.

  • First 6 Weeks - Focus on positional skill development and theory.
    • First hour - skill & volleyball IQ development
    • Second hour - game like drills/scrimmages
  • Competition Season (Feb-Apr) -  Practice & 4 local tournaments. 
    • Next level skill development 
    • Tournament play by age group and ability

    • 13/14 y.o - (Mondays 5-7pm; Saturdays 9-11am) WAITLIST AS OF 11/4/22

    • First practice  is Mon. Nov 28, 2022. 
  • All practices are at Bando Performance (EVO HQ) in Woburn
